"Greetings. My name is Danilo. I am primarily an English tutor because English was my major. The university that I went to focuses on teaching teachers. If you are guessing Bridgewater State University, then you are correct. I graduated from Bridgewater State University in January of 2011 with high marks, which was not easy considering that receiving an A for a class meant a demonstration of excellence in the subject.
While in school, I worked with children and young adults. It has been my pursuit to educate the youth, whether as a volunteer teacher or quite simply as a mentor. Since I finished school, my objective has been to acquire the skills necessary to help the youth and the community. Recently, I have become familiar with the DOE regulations while working with the CMECC Learning Institute, and I have finished an eighteen-hour training course that awarded me a certificate in ABE from the Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts, which covered learning disabilities as a major topic.
In terms of the duties and responsibilities, I have experience working with students in a structured, recreational setting while working for the BELL Foundation, an afterschool program focused on urban youth. Also, I have experience planning all areas of the curriculum because I have worked with the CMECC Learning Institute to implement different lesson plans for elementary school children. I am enthusiastic. I am creative because I am a writer who has written short stories. Most of all, I must say that I am flexible because I am willing to do what is necessary to fulfill my obligation to the student." less...
