"Hi there! My name is Crimson, I have been helping kids improve their grades across many subjects for about 5.5 years now! I have found success in making children excited to learn rather than drilling facts and formulas into them. I have engaging lessons that involve art, stories, and other mediums that aren’t limited to strictly pen and paper. I learned how to properly tutor my peers when I was in 9th grade and I took a class called Peer Education, where I was taught a broad spectrum of strategies that are specific to each individual child.
I am currently enrolled at Santa Fe College to become a Pediatric Nurse, I have always loved helping out children and now is no exception. Kids are all special in their unique ways with their own styles of learning. I want to spend time
with the kids I will one day work with to understand how they think.
In the previous 5 years I have taught kindergarteners, 3rd graders, 4th graders, 5th graders, and 6th graders. I have volunteered my time to tutor kids in a group setting as well as I have been teaching one-on-one with the same handful of kids for 4 years.
