"With degrees and experience in teaching and tutoring I am qualified to work with anyone who wishes to learn or improve their reading. From my own education starting schooling with a look/say method, then going to phonics, I became an avid reader in third and fourth grades. Even had phonics training in my speech therapy. So I know the importance of phonics.

I have taught, as a certified teacher, traditional phonics in the elementary grades for 18 years. Was a college librarian for 19 years. And for 12+ years tutored and home schooled multiple students. Currently I am doing online tutoring in traditional phonics and reading. My personal goal for each and every student is to enable them to read for lifelong learning.

I focus on phonics, vocabulary, and reading using my own tutoring aids and any other acceptable, necessary materials all based on traditional, in depth phonics. Tutoring is fast paced and varied with each student's participation needed for their own learning advancement. Some worksheets will be provided.
