After instruction, I find these values very self-evident in my students, whether they are studying early arithmetic or advanced differential equations.
I have 17 years of experience in tutoring and teaching mathematics in many private and public colleges and universities throughout Maryland and Virginia, as well as, tutoring for private companies Metropolitan DC area. I graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a Minor in Economics. I also attained a Master of Science degree in Education and worked in a Doctoral program in Higher Education.
I have tutored and taught many various subjects in mathematics. These include: Arithmetic, Pre-algebra, Algebra I (Basic Algebra), Geometry, Algebra II (Intermediate Algebra), Pre-calculus, Calculus I (Differential Calculus), Calculus II (Integral Calculus), Calculus III (Multivariable Calculus), Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Statistics.
Again, educators must instill in our students a sense of ownership in their learning by preparing them for the immediate and future innovations in the world today. Helping others to achieve their potential and dreams will always be my ultimate goal.
