I have taught the following courses at the college level: Introduction to Archaeology, Archaeology of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, Mesoamerican Archeology, Mesoamerican Ethnology, Archaeological Materials Analysis, Public Policy and Archeology and Human Evolution. I also served as Assistant Professor in 5 Field Archeology courses for University College London-Institute of Archelogy and University of Puerto Rico.
And I have participated in 49 Phase I, II, III archaeological projects for public/ state / federal and private agencies in Puerto Rico(AFI, USACE, SHPO) and Mexico (Hidalgo, Veracruz, State of Mexico, Mexico City and Yucatan) in collaboration with the Institute of Anthropological Research (UNAM), the National School of Anthropology and History (ENAH), Underwater Archaeology Branch (INAH), the University College London (Institute of Archeology), the Universidad Veracruzana, the Center for Advanced Studies of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña and Discovery Channel Latin America.
I also have archives research experience in primary documents at Archivo General de Puerto Rico (XIX-XX cent.), Archivo General de la Nación, México City (XVI-XX cent.) and Santa Clara University Jesuit Mission Archives (1794-1846). I have storytelling experience, as I have worked with 11-27 years old co-educational groups.
