"I am an anthropologist, and I love the field of study. I've always been fascinated by people and culture, whether it's the people of today or those who lived in the past. I've spent the past ten years applying my skills as a researcher in the business world as a market researcher. I talk with people, I develop programs and utilize the anthropological toolkit to better serve my clients and learn more about their areas of interest.

What does this mean for a student? I have a solid background in the fundamentals of both cultural anthropology and archaeology. I know how to apply the tools so that they make sense in the real world, and through application one can gain a stronger understanding of not only how these ideas work but their overall value. My goal as a tutor is to help folks not only get through a class, but make anthropology accessible. I also recognize that not everyone will love the field as much as I do, but my hope is that I can make it a bit more enjoyable in the long run.
