I taught AP-CS-A, and AP-Calc-BC in HS for 8 years as well.

AoPS: I have been coaching for more than 5 years in AoPS, and highly recommend their curriculum. It's awesome when it's a good fit. They do move fast, and some students need extra help. Here, I help students who take AoPS courses with homework, Alcumus problems, and general insights. I am NOT teaching AoPS courses here: I do that in person at Silicon Valley campuses :)

Background: I've worked for many years in the High-tech industry and then as a professor (Dean of Engineering). After retiring, I taught (8 years) in a local High School, and enjoyed seeing the growth of my students. Wrote a book on computer-competitions. These days, I only teach math and competitions at AoPS (I highly recommend them!), and privately for USCO and AMC.

My main focus is you, the student! How can we help you achieve your goals? Should we work more on technique or concepts? It all depends on the student.
