"I graduated from Allen High School with a 3.77 GPA and an IB diploma. I received a 5 on AP Chinese Language and Culture, a 7 on IB Chinese B SL, and a 6 on IB English Language and Literature HL. I am currently a freshman in Psychology at Texas A&M University. I have always had a passion for teaching, I was a part of TAFE (Texas Association for Future Educators) in high school, and I believe all students deserve a chance to receive any additional help they need. I have found that even subjects I did not like always became enjoyable with the right teachers, and I aspire to become one of those teachers.

I have a year of experience as a TA in a ninth grade Chinese 1 class of 10-15 students, and another as a TA in a high school Art I class of 20-25 students. In those classes I monitored the students and held small group sessions to help students who were struggling with the teacher's instructions. I have always helped individual students who seemed to be falling behind in class, and I have helped them navigate through their assignments when there was any confusion. I have also created and taught several full class lessons in those classes. Additionally, I have experience as a private tutor in 1-1 Zoom sessions for 5th grade English. I also volunteered as an English tutor for a classroom of 5-6th graders on Zoom.
