My name is Jon B. and I graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and then continued my education with a master’s degree in microbiology from the University of Florida. I fully understand that biology can be a difficult topic for many students, and I am here to custom-tailor your sessions to best assist you. Through a mixture of direct instruction/explanation and then guided, self-paced practice, you can master topics that you have been struggling with the most. We can move through material slowly to gain a deep understanding of a topic, or move through large amounts of material quickly, if you have an upcoming exam.

- I have taught (and currently still teach) AP Biology in the classroom setting for 18 years.

- I have over 130 AP Biology students every year in my classroom setting due to the effectiveness of my instruction.

- I have helped score the AP Biology exam (as an AP Reader and Table Leader) for the last 7 years.

- I also teach A-Level AICE Biology (Cambridge curriculum).

As a current classroom biology teacher, I understand the material that you need to know to be successful. I have a deep understanding of how to help ALL AP Biology students. Additionally, I am one of the few A-Level Biology teachers in the country and can help you with either AS or A-Level Biology. I am happy to help with other levels of biology such as IB, honors, or regular classes as well.
