"Hello! My name is JC and I am a mathematics and engineering teacher at a public high school in south-central Pennsylvania. I graduated from Penn State University in 2007 with a degree and Mathematics Education and have been teaching and tutoring ever since! In the math world, I've taught everything from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus AB and BC and my students have experienced a lot of success. In fact, over my career, I have had a total of 656 AP Calculus AB or BC students. Of those 656, 511 have earned a 4 or 5 (with almost 350 fives). We get things done!!!
In addition to my time in the math classroom, I've tutored a number of AP Calculus students, wrote online math curriculum, and even worked as a "teacher leader" traveling around the East Coast in the summer training other math teachers. Outside of the classroom, I've coached A LOT of sports from youth soccer and basketball to varsity football and track.
