"I have been a private tutor for almost fifteen years. My students are often college or graduate students with English as their second language. For these students I have provided a cultural and conceptual bridge between cultures. I also have experience coaching community college students with all writing assignments, including applications for scholarships. If working on Art History papers or test preparation, I am open to museum visits for enrichment purposes as I have spent much of my life visiting the great art museums of the world in order to learn about culture, history, and aesthetics. It would be my pleasure to share my knowledge with a new group of students. I am also comfortable with literature papers and history assignments. My students have shown great improvements after working with me. In addition to traditional tutoring services I have also provided coaching for college and job interviews.

My approach to tutoring is based on the particular needs of the student. Through active listening I am able to discern and pinpoint both immediate and long-term learning objectives in order to make sessions both productive and enlightening.
