My name is Diana and I am an artist, art professor, and founder of Artful and Educational (www.artfulandeducational.com). I am based in New York City and have an MFA in Studio Art, a BFA in Painting and Drawing, an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Art Education, and a Certificate in Media and Technology from Harvard Graduate School of Education. When I am not teaching, I work as a professional artist, showing my art and participating in residencies in the New York City area, across the United States, and abroad.

I love working with students to help them develop their creative voices. I specialize in Foundational Drawing, Painting and Mixed Media, and have experience with Photography, Video, and Papermaking. In addition to working with students (preschoolers to adults) who are interested in art as a hobby, I help artists prepare portfolios for art program admissions. My passion project, Artful and Educational, empowers artists and teachers to unleash their creativity and make the art they have always wanted to make.

In addition to teaching Studio Art, I also work with English Language Learners and offer conversation classes about Art, to help students with their reading, writing and speaking skills.
