"I started my journey learning American Sign Language (ASL) over 15 years ago. It quickly became something very dear to my heart and I went on to use that love and turn into a career that I also love. I got my Associates in Human Services specializing in ASL at Oakland Community College back in 2010 and I have been a certified interpreter in the state of Michigan since 2015. I have also been teaching spiritual topics since I was a teenager. It brings me so much joy seeing my students understand new topics and grow in their knowledge. To see their confidence grow is something truly special.

I believe each person learns differently and there is no one size fits all when it comes to teaching. This is why a one-on-one tutoring experience can be so helpful. I do my best to adjust how I teach based on a students needs, learning style, and goals. I appreciate learning from students as much as they learn from me, and together we can come up with a plan of how to get the most out of each session. I believe my years of experience and involvement in the deaf community, as well as my empathy and desire to share knowledge help me to be the best teacher I can be.
