As a grad student I taught math, physics, astronomy for 5 years as a tutor, TA, and lecturer. More recently I've been tutoring and mentoring programming bootcamp students. I've taught students of all ages and backgrounds, attending college, bootcamps, college prep, etc

I always focus on developing an understanding of material, rather than just memorization of key words and topics.

I'm currently a software engineer with experience in Ruby, Python, and JavaScript (as well as some Java, C++, and FORTRAN).
