"I have been involved in various tutoring and teaching jobs for several years now, and since I love learning, I've always found it to be both rewarding and enjoyable. As one of the top of my graduating class and someone who attended a prestigious college, I've had to take advantage of various tutoring services myself during my academic career, which has given me a broad range of ideas for better learning.

My personal interests include literature and writing, physics and astronomy, and math; however, I took a plethora of high-level classes during high school and college and am well-versed in many academic areas. In addition to coursework, I have a passion for research, which led to being published in two academic journals before I entered college and a further two papers during my undergraduate career. Research is always something I love to talk about and help others with!

In addition to scoring a 35 on the Math portion of the ACT, I scored a five on both AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC in high school, and have taken college courses in Statistics and Multivariable Calculus. I also scored a 36 on the Science portion of the ACT in my freshman year of high school, and have tutored many for that portion of the ACT since then. I have had to analyze graphs and data for my own research projects since my freshman year of high school, which is also the main purpose of the Science portion of the ACT.

As I have written and edited several academic research papers covering many different disciplines, I am confident in my ability to edit for style, grammar, content, and citation styles. I have worked on lengthy papers in MLA, Chicago, and APA formatting styles, and I am also knowledgeable about the submission process to academic journals in Film Studies, Physics and Engineering, and Astrophysics.
