"Since my own learning process has often been convoluted, I find I have a strong ability to understand not only what someone understands but how they understand. This helps me take the appropriate tac when tutoring. Throughout my life, I have taken great comfort and found refuge in education and learning. I am not a fast learner. I started to read late in life and schoolwork never came easily to me. Despite that, and with many individualized learning sessions and hard work, I was able to attend a Ivy League university and graduate magna cum laude. My curiosity led me from biology to documentary filmmaking, where I continue to explore the world and disseminate knowledge.
