"Dear students, I am a nurse practitioner with 30 years of nursing experience behind me. During those 30 years I often was a preceptor for both nursing students and new graduate nurses. I have a master’s degree in Community Health and Wellness Promotion and another master’s degree in Nursing. I ventured into a different type of teaching two years ago as a life and wellness coach and find that I love helping people make changes in their lives and also to gain the knowledge and skills needed to make those changes. Often I help people with returning to school and getting the education that will allow them to advance in their jobs or even to change careers. I have always had a gift for doing well academically so it seems natural to turn my coaching skills toward academic coaching as well as life and wellness coaching.

Although I have 2 master’s degrees, I am also self-taught in other subjects such as history and computer programs because of a love of learning as well as necessity (related to my computer skills.) As a published author I have expertise in English and grammar and often proofread material for other coaches. I have the knowledge and skills to help a variety of students of all ages who are struggling with subjects such as biology and science, nursing, social studies, psychology, history, health related subjects and basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office programs and Word Press web page creation.
