"Hi, I'm Hadija! I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and have been practicing in the field for over 5 years. I am an Interior Designer with a specialty in Kitchen design. I mainly use AutoCAD and Sketchup for projects and love to pass on my knowledge to beginners of the subjects. It took a few years to become acclimated with these programs and I understand how much practice it really takes to become comfortable and excel in these subjects. Because computer programs like AutoCAD and Sketchup can be overwhelming I place importance on repetition, simple practices, pace of teaching and patience. In my experience as a student those have been the best qualities in a teacher that I have found has helped me succeed and really grasp the information. I strive to encompass those same skills and qualities in my teaching style. However, I encourage students to take good notes for reference and put in a lot of practice hours even outside of our time spent together to really hone their skills. Learning never starts and ends in a tutoring session or a classroom. All practice counts!

I have been tutoring AutoCAD and Sketchup for just over a year in my undergrad program and a little bit outside of school. I really enjoy watching my peers, students and professionals in the field go from beginner to intermediate in these programs as I know how overwhelming they can be at first. I've tutored one on one as well as in a group setting within a computer lab. Skills taught include basic drafting in AutoCAD and Sketchup, document setup for printing and 3D rendering.
