"I'm Heidi, I graduated from Boston University with a BS in Business and Management. I earned an MBA with a concentration in Organizational Leaders. My first book won the 2018 American Fiction award in the Poetry General and Poetry Religion categories. My passion has always been literature and history as the two go hand in hand. My best instructors were those who were patient and made the classes enjoyable. They were engaging and comprehensive when teaching. I bring the same style to tutoring.

I have a year experience teaching literature as part of a writers group. I work directly with members of the group to help them understand how literature impacts the genre in which they're writing. This includes making recommendations of different reading materials.

As part of the literature lessons, I also cover history as it provides the background on society, language and cause and effect.
