"Hello, folks! As a lover of mathematics, I am eager to share my experience with students who want to learn. I have been involved heavily with numbers all of my life. Math was my best subject in school. I have a B.S. in mathematics, and for two years after college I taught middle school math. Then for the next thirteen years, I worked in the pension actuarial field which required a good deal of analyzing numbers. But my favorite of all has been the past 25 years, where I have worked exclusively as a full-time professional math tutor.

I firmly believe that tutoring is my natural calling. During my college years, I ended up helping students in my dorm with their math travails. I have been described as detail-oriented yet nurturing and patient. My task as a tutor is always to build a student’s confidence and proficiency in the subject matter at hand. I have been fortunate to witness many of my students improve their scores and knowledge and gain acceptance to colleges of their choice.

Subjects that I have tutored extensively over the years are algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus I and II, statistics, and discrete mathematics. I also am well-versed in the SAT, ACT, and GRE mathematics sections, having tutored them extensively. Grade levels I am comfortable with are middle school, high school, some college, and adults looking to possibly relearn math from yesteryear.
