But more importantly for you, I also love to help others feel less intimidated and more confident when it comes to expressing themselves in essays, understanding literature, and preparing for standardized tests.

I have a bachelor's degree in English. For several years while earning that degree, I worked as a peer English tutor on campus. After graduation, I was hired to manage the tutoring department, a job I loved because it allowed me to work with students on both sides of the tutoring relationship, training those who did the tutoring to be great "teachers" as well as working with the students receiving the tutoring to assess their specific challenge areas and see that they got exactly the help they needed.
