"Hi! I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Science in Biochemistry and a minor in Forensic Science. During my time at Baylor, I discovered that the most impactful learning experiences were the ones where concepts were presented in a hands-on and accessible way. This realization has shaped my tutoring style, where I strive to make challenging material engaging and easy to understand.
For two years, I worked as a Learning Lab Assistant in a microbiology lab course, supporting college students by helping them navigate experiments and understand complex concepts. I was also a Learning Lab Assistant for a year in a freshman biology lab course, assisting with pre-lab preparations and teaching basic lab techniques. Additionally, I tutored high school students for the SAT during the summer of my senior year.
I have worked with both high school and college students, whether in classroom settings or one-on-one, and I specialize in making challenging subjects like biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and test preparation approachable and engaging. Beyond the sciences, I have a deep passion for US History—it’s a subject I’ve always loved exploring. Scoring a 5 on the APUSH exam only fueled my excitement for the topic, and I’m eager to help students any problems they have with that course.
I’m dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. I welcome feedback and resources from students and parents to ensure a meaningful and personalized learning experience. If you’re ready to tackle your academic challenges and unlock your potential, feel free to reach out—I’m always here to help!" less...
