"Hi, it's so nice to meet you!
Is starting to learn something new intimidating for you?
Do you need a little boost to your confidence when learning Hebrew?
Is preparing for your Bar/Bat Mitzvah a wild and crazy experience and you don't know what to do next?
Don't worry. I have your back! I've spent over 10 years working with students ages 9 through adulthood learning how to read Hebrew, preparing for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah. I've created personalized curricula for each one of my one-on-one weekly sessions with my students.
Whether through a temple program or privately, I help my students write their Dvar Torah and teach them how to chant Haftarah and Torah trope. I've taught prayers (both traditional and modern melodies) from all the yearly services: the full Shabbat morning, Mincha, Ma'ariv, Havdalah, Rosh Chodesh, etc. You name it, I've taught it!
I have been working in the Jewish Education industry for the past decade, enriching my students' lives and connections to Judaism. I've taught everything from Hebrew language, the weekly parsha, and Jewish holidays to directing youth programming events for students through high school.
Additionally, I have a sizable amount of online teaching experience via Zoom, Google and WhatsApp and have a variety of availabilities to schedule lessons throughout the week.
My favorite part of teaching is getting to work closely with a student and their family to find what is right for them. Sometimes it's building up their confidence. Other times it's challenging them to reach their highest potential. Everyone falls somewhere along the spectrum and whatever my role in your journey may be, know that I will be encouraging, supportive and excited for your success. It brings me great joy to help each of my students grow, learn, and develop meaningful connections to Judaism.
If this sounds like a good fit for you or your inquiring student, please feel free to reach out! Hope to hear from you soon!" less...
