"My name is Jason, and I am excited to be your next tutor and help you reach your educational goals. Throughout my high school career, I had received consistent good grades and scored well on standardized tests such as the SAT I, SAT II subject tests, and AP tests. As a result, I had a 4.64 UC GPA and a 4.53 weighted GPA going into college application season. I am currently enrolled at UC Berkeley studying Chemical Engineering, and I believe that I could help you embark on your journey to reach your goals.
I volunteered to tutor various subjects in high school such as chemistry and algebra. I am capable of teaching more subjects such as physics, SAT math, and SAT reading. The students that I had tutored always felt much more comfortable about the subject area after being taught the material by me one more time. I believe that I have techniques in order to explain such hard topics to students and make them much more understandable.
I have a strong foundation in mathematics, and I had gotten A's on Algebra 2, Precalculus, Calculus AB, and Calculus BC in high school. I can teach Algebra I to students who have trouble with certain topics as I have a good understanding in algebra and grasped the subject easily in school. I received a 800 on SAT 1 math and a 790 on SAT 2 Math level 2. I am a good and quick test taker and I could share my experience with students. I have experience with all sorts of AP classes, including AP Calculus and AP Sciences. I also scored well on the SAT's, so I know what it is like to steadily improve with practice and the proper technique.
I am so excited to meet my future aspiring students and to share my experiences and advice with them. As a current student myself, I could relate with them well and offer many perspectives about the courses they need help on. Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to seeing you." less...
