"I'm an award-winning, internationally-bestselling author who has published four critically-acclaimed novels with major U.S. publishing houses, and whose work has been translated into 21 languages to date. I have degrees from Amherst, Columbia and Johns Hopkins University, ten years in print, broadcast and magazine reporting, and over twenty years of teaching experience both in the U.S. and abroad.
