"Hello! My name is Charles, but I go by my middle name Dylan! I am an alumnus from Rothberg International School of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I received my Master of Art's there in the Bible & the Ancient Near East, June of 2021.
I am passionate about learning and inspiring people to pursue studies that suit their unique interests. Yet, I wasn't always passionate about education. It wasn't until I was a bit older that I began to understand the value of educational settings. Due to a couple of my professors during my undergrad, I have grown to acknowledge that influential teachers and mentors can make a world's difference in the quality of a student's experience and the outcome of their studies. That's just one of many reasons why I'm passionate about teaching!
As a student at Cedarville University during my undergrad, I was a tutor at the tutoring center. I enjoyed tutoring subjects such as biblical Hebrew and Greek. I found immense satisfaction in helping students excel and find purpose in learning. Since then, I have been teaching and tutoring biblical languages online.
I have studied Biblical Greek, for now, eight years, and Biblical Hebrew for six years. In addition, I have also studied Aramaic and Akkadian during my M.A. degree. Also, the analytical skill required for my degrees has enabled me to be well qualified to give reading and writing support to students with those specific needs. High-level reading and writing have become a part of my everyday life. So, I'd love to help anyone who needs tutoring and encouragement in these subjects as well.
Furthermore, throughout the years, I have learned what it takes to build particular skills and strategies for studying. "Studying" is not usually something that comes naturally for everyone. We must all learn how to do so and choose which method best suits us individually.
Contact me at any time. I will be available for you! I'd enjoy helping you pursue your studies and encouraging you in your learning journey!" less...
