"Hello! My name is Mateo, I am a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. I have worked in education for over 7 years now. I got my start helping first generation students work through the college application process.

Since then, I acquired my bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and began working as a long term substitute teacher for the Morris School District. I am an effective 1-on-1 and small group tutor. I work to identify the gaps in a student's understanding and use the best method for them to learn and retain material. This year I have worked with ESL students learning algebra/geometry, high school seniors working on final papers/college essays, and have helped each of my students reach success.
