"¡Hola! I’m Brittany, and I’m excited to work with you! I’m a native English speaker and have been studying and speaking Spanish for 20+ years. I hold a B.A. in Spanish, an M.A. in Spanish Linguistics, and an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction. I have 13+ years of experience teaching Spanish to middle, high school, and college students, and have been awarded “Teacher of the Year” in previous roles as a k-12 educator. I hold a current teaching license/certification in my state.

Beyond my professional credentials, I’ve traveled extensively in the Spanish-speaking world, visiting 6+ countries to immerse myself in the language and culture. I love teaching and learning new languages and am equally as passionate about culture. I love using authentic materials and resources to teach the language in a relevant, interesting, engaging, and comprehensible way.
