"I'm a recently retired instructor pilot for a major aircraft manufacturer and as well as a retired Air Force pilot with 25 years active duty and reserve. I now fly for a large regional. I have over 12,000 hrs flight time in 13 different aircraft and am fortunate to have a career I really enjoy. I also previously taught biology chemistry and US history at my local school district as well as specialty courses on meteorology, aeronautics and wood working. I have been tutoring for over 15 years and really enjoy the opportunity to share what I have learned with others.

I graduated from BYU with a BS in zoology (premed), and have an MS in Information Management from Webster University, an MS in Aeronautical Science and Aviation Safety from Embry-Riddle and am one class short of an MS in Biology Instruction from Clemson. I have a certificate in Weather Forecasting from Penn State and just completed a college level algebra review from Illinois State. I have coached swimming at the high school and USA Swimming level and coached swim clinics with US Olympic coaches. I have worked with military candidates on both the ASVAB and AFOQT and written practice tests for both. I have successful candidates in all branches form pilot the special operations.

I live on horse ranch where my wife and I breed specialty dogs and work with retired from racetrack thoroughbreds to make them available for others to ride or just give them a nice place to retire.

As you can tell I love to teach. I have a varied teaching style, based on the Socratic Method, that has proven very successful, but am also very flexible in that style. Due to my geographic location, I would prefer to work on-line, but if you are close enough we can conduct face-to-face lessons." less...
