"My experience in tutoring, teaching, and mentoring spans over 10 years. After receiving a B.S. from Loyola University New Orleans, I received my Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University. I have tutored junior high through colleges students in math, science, and Spanish. I have instructed high school and undergraduate students at international and domestic schools in both Louisiana and Texas, including the International Baccalaureate curriculum. My services provide children and young adults in the Katy, TX area with one-on-one tutoring in all subjects, including all junior and high school levels of math, science, and Spanish, in the convenience of their own home. My training for tutoring in the areas of science and math is attributed to my advanced degrees where I have taken math courses through Calculus II and higher level science courses, especially in the life sciences. My graduate work, graduate teaching and high school teaching experiences have further qualified me to teach biology, genetics, biochemistry, and statistics. In addition, my ability to tutor Spanish is supported by native fluency of the language, 4 years of Spanish courses and 10 years of Spanish tutoring.

As a dedicated tutor and academic coach, I place emphasis on study skill development, test preparation strategies, time management, and improved organizational skills to guide students to become self, life-long learners.
