After over 30 years teaching and advising college students in the United States, the most common complaints I heard from student feedback is this:

1. Science, especially Chemistry, is tough and boring

2. Science professors tend to be very serious, making it even harder to enjoy their courses

3. My professors cannot apply their knowledge to real life applications since I learn best when I know how the information is actually applied!

I plan to change that. Since I am now retired, I can teach you my way without all the constraints and formalities set up by the college or university that professors have to adhere to! I am not only friendly but some might even say silly! I think the best way to learn is in a fun and friendly, informal environment, preferably one-to-one or in small groups (as opposed to large classes in colleges to satisfy their enrollment quotas). Chemistry, if presented in an appropriate way can be fun and easy! Most important of all is that I can show you how chemistry and biochemistry is actually used in hospitals. This is because I am a Board-certified clinical chemist with several years of clinical experience. In addition, with my extensive research experience in nanomedicine, you will also enjoy the subject even more when I show you how chemical concepts are being used to solve future medical problems.
