"My educational journey is marked by a rigorous pursuit of knowledge in marine biology and biochemistry. I am currently working towards a Ph.D. in Integrative Comparative and Marine Biology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I focus on the ecological roles of marine microbes. This builds on my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University with a minor in chemistry focusing on organic, recognized with the Distinguished Undergraduate Researcher Award for my active engagement and accomplishments in research.
