"I am a practicing senior bioinformatician at a major US research university, where I use R on a daily basis to analyze cancer informatics data for the purposes of drug target discovery, disease mechanism identification and hypothesis generation. I have deep knowledge of R, particularly with respect to analysis of biological data, such as genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, metagenomics, and single-cell data.

Previously, I was a professor at a major US university where I created and taught acclaimed courses in biostatistics with R, bacteriophage genomics, and biology for many years. I have over 8 years' teaching experience at the university level, and over 20 years research experience in bioinformatics, biostatistics and computational biology.
