"I am originally from Boston, graduated from Syracuse University in 2012, and moved down to Dallas three years ago to teach in the inner-city. low income schools. I have been teaching middle school and high school Biology as well as AP Biology for the last three years, which I have fallen in love with. I work very hard to make sure my students pass the Biology EOC STAAR and the AP Biology test, and have had a very high success rate. I try and make Biology Fun and exciting, and relate it to every day life and whats currently going on in the world. I have a passion for working with pre-teens and teenagers, as this is the age where students are discovering themselves, growing into young adults and learning the skills they will need for college and the rest of their lives. Even though this is my passion, I do have many clients who are adults and this is always fun and refreshing.

This year I have decided to the north east and go back to school myself, put teaching on hold, and take tutoring up full time. This allows me the time to help students during the week, especially those who are home schooled.

I enjoy a challenge and am very good at working with individuals that are truly struggling with different subjects. I have never given up on a student and I don't plan on starting.

I have a lot of experience working with individuals with Autism, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Dyslexia, as I am Dyslexic myself. I understand the struggles these individuals face and know how to help these students work around their learning hurdles and excel.
