"I graduated cum laude from Smith College in 2023 with majors in biological sciences and data science and statistics. Afterwards, I worked for a year as a computational biology researcher at Brigham and Women’s Hospital before I began a master’s program at Tufts. I am passionate and knowledgeable about a wide array of subjects, though I have the most experience tutoring in the subjects I majored and later worked in.

During my undergraduate, I tutored students in my major subjects, including evolutionary biology, genetics, research statistics, introductory statistics, and introductory programming. As a TA, I assisted any students who were struggling in class, and I also had sessions to provide homework help for any students who were struggling. I worked with a wide range of students, from students with almost no prior experience in the subject matter to students who were in advanced subject classes.

I realize that students approach math and science with a wide range of comfort levels, so I am careful to assess where a student is at before I begin working with them. Where possible, I explain the fundamentals of a subject in order to ensure the student has a firm grounding.
