"I am a graduate of the University of Georgia, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Applied Biotechnology, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 3.95 GPA. My academic journey equipped me with a strong foundation in subjects like Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, and Cell Biology, all of which I am passionate about sharing with my students. My education was enhanced by hands-on lab work and research, where I gained practical experience with complex concepts and problem-solving techniques that I bring into my tutoring approach.
For over two years, I have been tutoring students both individually and in classroom settings. I have experience tutoring high school and college students, focusing on simplifying challenging topics and building their confidence. As a Class Learning Assistant for Organic Chemistry I, I led weekly recitations and exam review sessions, helping students strengthen their understanding through clear, relatable explanations. My tutoring style centers on adapting to each student’s needs, whether they benefit from visual aids, practice problems, or breaking down topics step-by-step. This approach has allowed me to connect well with students and help them build the skills needed to excel independently.
Additionally, I have tutored privately, working one-on-one with students needing extra support in sciences. I make it a priority to create a comfortable learning environment, so students feel open to ask questions and engage in the material. Through my experiences, I have developed a patient and supportive approach, aiming not only to help students succeed academically but also to foster a lasting interest in science." less...
