"I first realized that I wanted to teach many years ago. I was working at a job for about 10 hours a day, and because I wasn't making a lot of money I took a part-time job as a tutor to supplement my income. I would come home exhausted and mentally drained from my first 10-hour job, and then go spend another 4-5 hours tutoring and come home in the best mood and frame of mind. I then realized that teaching was what I was meant to do.

After some careful thought and a few hard decisions, I gave up my very safe and secure job to go back to school so I could become a teacher. I have never looked back, and I have never been happier. I LOVE to teach, and I am thankful for my decision and my experiences every day.

I am currently a full-time faculty member in Michigan, and I enjoy tutoring and teaching on the side. There is no such thing as a silly question in my mind-ask me anything. All that I ask is that you treat me with the kindness and respect that I will treat you with.

Because I have been teaching so long, and teaching for a variety of courses at many different schools, I feel very confident that I can help you in a variety of topics including Biology, Botany, Ecology, Microbiology, Zoology, and even with writing papers. I teach these topics now at my University.
