"My name is Sandy C., and I am a recent graduate from Emory & Henry University, where I earned my B.S. in Biology with honors. My academic journey has been shaped by a deep passion for the biological sciences. Throughout my time at university, I immersed myself in diverse scientific coursework and hands-on laboratory experiences, fueling my curiosity and inspiring me to share my knowledge. As a Supplemental Instructor and Lab Teaching Assistant for both Microbiology and Evolutionary Biology college level courses, I had the pleasure of helping students navigate complex concepts using engaging teaching methods that foster deep understanding.

In addition to my teaching roles, I conducted undergraduate research and completed an honors thesis exploring the efficacy of CBD as a stress relief intervention in shelter canines. This project not only enhanced my understanding of molecular biology but also reinforced my ability to communicate complex biological topics to a wider audience.
