"Hello and welcome!
I’m thrilled to meet you and excited to share my passion for biology and chemistry. My enthusiasm for these subjects began in middle school and has only grown stronger through years of study and teaching. I believe tutoring serves as a bridge between complex coursework and your educational goals, ensuring that these subjects enhance, rather than limit, your aspirations.
Over the past seven years, while pursuing my PhD, I’ve had the pleasure of tutoring peers in foundational biology and chemistry concepts. I’ve also served as a graduate teaching assistant for biomedical engineering courses at Stony Brook University, worked with high school students in the W.I.S.E. program to introduce them to research concepts, and taught a summer course for a STEM REU program as the head instructor.
I believe tutoring is valuable because it provides a personalized approach to mastering complex concepts at your own pace. Having experienced the challenges of understanding difficult material firsthand, my goal is to provide the clarity and support you need.
My aim is to help you achieve your goals and to build a supportive relationship that fosters your growth. By breaking down information into manageable pieces, we’ll work together to build a solid understanding of the big picture. I find immense joy in witnessing those “aha” moments when a concept clicks, and I’m dedicated to helping you experience that satisfaction by breaking down complex concepts into simpler building blocks to master biology and chemistry. I’m eager to guide you through this process, feel free to reach out, I’m looking forward to working with you and helping you succeed!
