"Hello! I'm Noah, and I'd love to be your tutor. I graduated summa cum laude from Plano West Senior. Science has been my bread and butter for as long as I can remember. I have competed in state and international science fairs (TXSEF and ISEF), won accolades and stipends, and secured internships at SMU and UT Southwestern Medical Center (STARS). Right now, I'm a sophomore research fellow in a lab at UT Austin's Molecular Science program researching immune response-associated proteins and RNAs.
I have taken and succeeded in Algebra I and II, Honors Precalculus, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Computer Science A, AP Calculus AB, Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Organic Chemistry, and college Java, Python, and C++. I approach material visually before I attempt problem solving, and I feel like this method improves learning as opposed to brutally working through exercises without adequate explanations beforehand.
I want to help you learn Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Computer Science– subjects that never cease to amaze me. There's a certain magic infused in these fields. As someone fully immersed in the sciences, I want to share this fascinating knowledge with you. Hopefully, you will come to appreciate scientific fundamentals as not just facts to memorize but colorful explanations on what makes our world tick. My lectures will therefore be engaging and intuitive. I won't bombard you with mouthfuls of information, rather, I will start simple and progressively increase rigor as you start to grasp the material. My intention is that you understand how to tackle problems, like balancing chemical equations or taking a derivative, consistently. The content will be presented with visual aids, elaboration, and teacher-directed work-throughs. If you follow along and apply yourself, the rewards reaped will ideally entail high scores and a deepened curiosity.
Students! I would absolutely love to tutor you in these subjects and increase your knowledge. Contact me and schedule a lesson today!" less...
