"Andrés Ayola is a first-generation Colombian-American oboist based in New York City. His versatile playing takes him from large concert halls to broadway cabarets. He’s performed with the Latin American Chamber Players, and was featured with the Jackson Heights Orchestra and Reflections in Music. Away from the city, he's appeared in festivals across the globe including Decoda Chamber Music Festival, Stellenbosch Music festival, Domaine Forget and International Summer Academy where he performed in various ensembles, masterclasses and curated community concerts. As a passionate educator, he holds a private studio and was a woodwind instructor at Frenchwoods Festival, where he is an alum. Andrés serves on the Faculty of UpBeat NYC, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing music education to students in the South Bronx.
