"Greetings! I'm in the final semester of my BS in Biology with a concentration in Marine Ecology at the University of Hawaii; funded by the GI Bill earned during six years of honorable military service, including two combat deployments.

With a rich background in science, social studies, history, and English, I bring a diverse skill set. I've successfully tutored peers during my first 2 years of university, across various age groups using tailored methods and approaches. Having served as a SCUBA instructor, and swimming instructor since my days in high school, primarily working with elementary and high school-age kids, I've gained valuable insights into effective teaching. My experience spans both one-on-one sessions and classroom settings. Through my life I've effectively conveyed knowledge in various settings from the desert in Afghanistan to boats in the pacific to backyard swimming pools and university classrooms, fostering collaborative learning environments among peers and colleagues.
