Over the years, I have owned my own small businesses which required managing employees, an understanding of finance and cash management and the necessary dealings with government and taxation. My experiences in life have offered many opportunities which will assist me in tutoring.

I read extensively and use the internet to follow current events. I taught gardening classes for over ten years when I owned a retail garden center. I have had gardening articles printed in various publications.

My major in college was political science with a minor in history.
