"Hi! I'm Pazia, I'm 27 years old & really passionate about math, computer science & teaching :)

For undergraduate, I received my B.A. in both Computer Science and Africana Studies, graduating magna cum laude from Brown University. After graduating, I spent 4 years working as a software engineer at Google, working on a variety of projects including Google Docs, Sheets, & Slides.

I have always loved math and science and have had a passion for computer science & software engineering since college. I love working with young folks, and I am particularly passionate about helping those with marginalized identities i.e. women, non-binary, LGBTQ+, & BIPOC folks, as there are still so few of us in these industries. At Google, I got a taste for tutoring when I mentored software engineer apprentices on my team, helped CS students prepare for coding interviews and volunteered at student events and workshops.

I am still fairly new to tutoring, but I cannot wait to start teaching, passing on my skills & learning from my students as well.
