"Hi all! My name is Olivia and I recently graduated from Brown University with degrees in International and Public Affairs and Literary Arts. I have about 8 years of experience tutoring in K-10th grade math, English, Spanish, and American history and Government. I've tutored both in-person and online for ages 5-16. I mostly work with students through work they have assigned to them, but with advance notice, am able to prepare lessons and gather resources. If desired, I also assign and grade homework. I determine areas in which students need more practice as we work together through their assigned work/the work I provide, and provide tailored lessons and drills based on weakness we identify.
I additionally have about 4 years of experience in college application counseling, essay editing, and SAT preparation. I scored a 1560 on the SAT and was accepted into 13 universities including Cornell, Vanderbilt, and UChicago, in addition to my alma mater, Brown University. I've coached several students into acceptance into their schools of choice, including Cornell, University of Virginia, and Emory.
