I specialize in helping players from brand new beginners to some intermediate levels as well particularly in Country, Bluegrass, and some blues. I'm from Knoxville, Tennessee, and my love for guitar started when I got my first Martin at the age of 12. That was the beginning of my journey into the world of guitar.

Growing up in Knoxville, I was surrounded by the sounds of artists like Tyler Childers, Billy Strings, and Marcus King. These guys are a big reason why bluegrass and country are my favorite genres and now my favorite type of music to play. A few years ago, I moved to Denver, bringing my Southern roots with me. Before the move, I also spent time tutoring a few family friends, so I have some experience under my belt.

I teach beginner and intermediate guitar lessons, focusing on the essential techniques you need to play your favorite songs. I can help you with learning your first song, common strumming patterns, flatpicking basics, basic minor/major/pentatonic scales, chord progressions, basic soloing/licks, improvisation, and more!

My rates are lower than most, not because I'm lacking in skill, but simply because I don't have as much formal tutoring experience as others. I'm confident in my ability to teach you what you need to know, and I believe in making guitar lessons affordable.
