"My name is Camie M. and I am a first grade, specializing in foundational reading and writing skills. I've worked nearly 10 years with special education students and ESL students. I have extensive school-based experience designing and implementing tiered instructional programs to support at-risk readers. I spent many years planning and implementing small group and 1:1 research-based and multi-sensory reading interventions and writing interventions.

I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and a Graduate Certificate in Special Education: K-12 Teachers of Students with Disabilities. I am also working on my Ed.D in Special Education. :)

Tutoring represents so much more to me than simply speaking to students, and explaining concepts. It's about creating moments that bring a smile to a child's face while they learn.
