"Hello to all perspective students! My name is Thomas, and I am from Carlsbad. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of International Business at the University of San Diego’s Knauss School of Business, with an expected graduation in 2025. I currently have a 3.76 GPA with a 3.83 major specific GPA, and I am able to study at USD in part due to a 4 year merit scholarship I received back in high school as a result of my academic performance. I also have made the Dean’s first honor roll, and I was previously a member of the honors program for a couple of years. Studying business has been a passion of mine ever since I was a little kid! My academic background includes an exchange semester at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico, Mira Costa College, and Cathedral Catholic High School. Additionally, I hold certifications including a Microsoft Excel Associate certification.

I have a strong foundation in tutoring, gained through my experience as a finance tutor with Knack (which is a role I was able to take after having tutored in school for years). In this role, I provided personalized lesson plans tailored to individual learning needs, ensuring my students grasped complex concepts in finance and related coursework. I have worked with students of varying ages and backgrounds, primarily in a one-on-one setting, which allowed me to adapt my teaching style to meet their unique needs.
