"I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Music from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and a Master of Arts degree also from Ball State University. I started piano lessons at the age of 5. I have taught private piano lessons for over 20 years. In the school setting I have taught elementary general music K-6 as well as middle school and high school choral music for over 20 years as well. I was chosen twice as "Teacher of the Year" at the school corporation I worked for.

I have worked with individual middle and high school students as well as small groups in preparation for Indiana State School Music Association competitions.

I love working with students and do my best to make lessons enjoyable for the students. Each teaching assignment is geared toward the student's ability and individual learning pace.
