If you're looking to catch up, keep up, or get ahead, learning should be an exciting journey, and I’m here to make that journey enjoyable and rewarding for every student I work with. With years of tutoring experience—from pre-K through college—I’ve had the privilege of helping students conquer challenging subjects like math, science, and writing. While at UCSD, I worked alongside professors, leading workshops and creating lesson plans that complemented class topics. Whether I’m helping struggling students improve their grades or assisting high achievers in diving deeper into the material, my goal is to make learning fun with a customized approach.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my engaging, patient, and encouraging teaching style. I break down complex concepts in ways that make sense to each student, creating a learning environment where they feel motivated and confident. I don’t just want students to understand how to solve problems, but also why the methods work, empowering them to become independent learners.
I have extensive teaching experience across multiple subjects. Currently, I’m a Senior Lead Instructor at Mathnasium, a substitute teacher, and a private tutor for students ranging from elementary to college level, all while working full-time in tech. I’ve also taught at the university level during my time at UCSD. I graduated from UCSD with a degree in Biochemistry (Chemistry emphasis), and was just two courses shy of a minor in Physics and Math. My passion for education extends beyond STEM—I’ve also helped students with writing courses, strengthening their communication skills. Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students abroad in Peru and the Dominican Republic.
If you’re looking for a tutor who is knowledgeable, engaging, and committed to student success, I’d love to help! Feel free to reach out—I’m flexible and happy to find the best approach to meet your needs." less...
